The city of Atlanta is brimming with countless events, activities, and attractions to keep you busy through the weekend. If you’re planning on heading to the city for a three-day vacation, here’s our guide to spending the best weekend ever in this delightful town.

Friday

Start your weekend by indulging in Atlanta’s delicious food scene and head on over to the elegant and modern Watershed on Peachtree. Here, you’ll find creamy jumbo sea scallops and spiced-rubbed flounder on the dinner menu, as well as caramelized banana pudding and heavenly apple cheesecake for dessert. With nearly 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, the College Football Hall of Fame is a must-see for any sports fan. Whether you test your abilities in the skill zone, run a few plays in the playing field, or walk through the hall of fame, you’re guaranteed to have a fun time. After hitting the showers, head on over to the CNN Studio Tour, where visitors can get an up-close view of the exciting world of broadcasting.

Sunday

End your weekend in Atlanta by spending some time in the great outdoors. At the thrilling Stone Mountain theme park, you can stretch your legs, enjoy the fresh air, and experience fun attractions such as the Summit Skyride and Snow Mountain tubing. The park also has great opportunities for family camping and outdoor music festivals as well.
